Mods can throw this out if they want... My friend has a 96 camaro Z71 that has CAI and hes saying he will blow me away... its probably true he could beat me but i would think it would be a close match.

It would be a good run. It could go either way depending on alot of variables.

Ever since one of those stories popped up on here about people dying from a street race, the weekend battle section was eliminated, and discussions of street races on this board became a bannable offense. That's why I said I hope this race will take place at a track, and encouraged the OP to take it to the track to find out.

A Z28 should run mid 13s from the factory.

A 5.5gen would lose.
