How to identify if the tranny I have is a 2003 or 2004?

Basically, I want to know if this baby will work in a 2004 maxima. I couldn't find any hard printed part # on the tranny? Here are some pics:

You said it was pulled out of a car, is there a VIN tag on it?

any tranny is swappable on the max from 00-06 as far as I know. But I'm not sure if you will have ecu/tcm codes with an automatic

There's no tag on the trans? You said you used the engine, is there a VIN or ESN tag on it?

Nothing identifying the tranny besides that sticker I posted a few pics up...

I can't get access to the engine right now. Don't know if I will be able to anytime soon.

Have you tried talking to Dave B. He can usually help with this kind of thing.

By the looks of it the 88X02 denotes the a piece of the part number for the transmission case. If you type that in the courtesy nissan search box it will come up as "case" worth about 500 bucks.
