Few questions about replacing Bose HU and speakers?

Sorry for the redundancy of my questions guys but I didn't seem to find the answers with the search. I did manage to find answers to some of my other questions though. Well, here goes - I am replacing my Bose headunit in my 96 with an aftermarket one and have decided to replace the speakers as well. (After reading the multiple threads on problems with running Bose speakers with an aftermarket HU) My question is can I use the existing speaker wires for the new speakers or do I need to run new wire? Also, since each speaker has it's own amp does this include the tweeters as well? Should I replace them too or can I use them? I do have the wiring harness and antenna adaptor and I have no plans on adding an amp or subs. Any info greatly appreciated.
