Hey guys came out from Circuit City with my friends and brother to find out that some b**** hit my car. Now, i treasure this car since its my first one that i actually own and work on. Anyway we came out of the black friday crowd and walked to the car and found my mirror in the close position thankfully the mirror itself is fine but my door is banged up and the paint started to chip.










got most of the color off from the other car after clay baring and using turtle scratch removal and excuse the dirtyness There was no note or anything and i parked at a pretty safe place too. There was no cameras to find the culprit too. and the cops were no help except to file a report. Now the question is how much is it to fix this. And i also have the pearl paint too which is a b**** anyone know a good place in Jersey?

 

Damn man that sucks. People have no respect for other peoples property or basically cannot drive. I hope at least you picked up a good deal at CC.

 

Heh, my rear bumper has 2 new scratches in it too, from black friday shopping at Staples. Not as bad as yours though.

How much is your insurance deductible? Might be worth it...

Probably going to cost $500-1000 depending on how far they want to blend the paint to match it. Don't price shop this either or you will probably end up with a door that looks even worse. Find a good, independent body shop that specializes in high end cars. Do not take it to the dealer, they only do one thing well and that is sell cars.

DUDE! I work at sears and i had to be there at 4 am. So im thinking is my car gonna be safe out there with a million other cars? i was worried about it all day, and luckily nothing happened

 

Exactly the reason I still have the rusted out HB. Whoever hits it will do more damage to their own vehicle than they can do to "The Turd".

thats why i dont go out on black friday.... and if there is ANY reason i HAVE to ... i park about 3 miles away from the rest of the other cars...

I just had my dad drop me off in the M45 lolz then after work, i took the max out and it felt like it picked up pretty quick as if it missed me :P

One reason I loathe shopping on crowded days...just not worth it to save a few bucks. I shop on the internet for the most part.

i'm not sure where your at in nj but m&r auto body in south nj does some great work as far as color matching. my 3000gt was custom painted by the prevouse owner a metalic red pearl and they matched it perfect

 

well im near Stockton College if that give you an idea. and where is this M&R auto body you talking about? Metal Max pointed me to a place in AC but still don't have time to do anything about the car when i have finals at Stockton and working six a lot. let me know though thanks.

 

Dang sorry to hear about that. Have you went back to Circuit city to see if maybe they have parking lot cameras...I wish they do and hopefully you'll be able to see who did this to your car so you can beat their ***! hahah!

ouch man i feel for you I was a victim of a hit and run when i first bought my max not even 24 hours after owning it I went to the grocery store came back to the parking lot to a cracked rear bumper and no witnesses :/

 

My wifes Mazda 6 lease got dinged on black friday here in MD as well. I had the Max out for work that Wednesday and for Thanksgiving day but I told her there is no way I'm taking her out on Black Friday and sure enough, the other car took the abuse. I took the Honda out black friday, you can hit it all you want
