Odd...could Techron fuel injector cleaner cause a temporary O2 problem?
About 30 miles after adding a bottle of Techron fuel injector cleaner, my SES light came on. P0037, heated O2, bank 1 rear. Reset it and 40 miles later it was back. Reset it again and took 150 miles to come back on. Reset it about 8-9 times total and the mileage before it came back on varied from 30-40 miles to 100-150. By this time it was 3 tanks past the Techron f/i cleaner and after i reset it the last time, the SES light has now been off for close to 900 miles. I'd already replaced it in April and wasn't happy it apparently had already failed. Could something in the Techron cleaner maybe coated the end of the O2 where it sits in the exhaust stream and affected it?
Of course, now that I mentioned the light has been off, I probably jinxed it.

I know that seafoam sometimes causes issues with o2 sensors but that is when you use it through the brake booster line to directly feed it into the intake......not all seafoam gets burned and some sits on the o2 sensor......but to use techron through the gas tank...???
so is it true because someone told me to use a pint of kerosene mixed to full tank of gas helps clean those injectors,,,i thought to myself ,,no way would i ever put kerosene in my tank but anyway what are your thoughts or feedbacks on this idea,,,i have an 01 SE...in excellent condition..
