Best rental I've ever had!
Once I learned that National rents Maximas I switched from Avis. Anyway I'm in Omaha, and I'm cruising around this red 09 Maxima for the next 2 days. Feels sweet, so smooth and much more refined than me 02
. With that, I was noticing how much I like the seats....WAY more then the 02. Those things are pretty comfortable! The tranny is kind of strange but still has a lot of power on tap. It also feels a lot bigger (because it is) then mine. I've rented a lot, but I will now rent these from now on. Another new car is not in my budget got a 09 Escape, so with that maybe in a couple years the Maximas will be even better, hopefully bring back the manual or paddles, who knows.
I would love to put the 09 seats in the 02, anyone think this could be done? I haven't really looked at the rails or anything yet.

Good rental car huh, there was a thread in the 4th gen section about putting G35 seats into the 4th gen, maybe that would help

Stormzusmc - 'Hopefully bring back the paddles' ?
The '09 with either Sport or Premium packages has paddles, both 'drive' and 'Sport' modes for the CVT, and a manual shift option to override the CVT. You will love having those options.
The red Maxima in your picture is a base 'S'. Stepping up to the 'SV' adds a lot of goodies such as leather, fog lights, LED turn indicators on the outside rear view mirrors, digital Bose, Homelink, digital compass, driver's seat adjustable thigh support extension and power lumbar support. Adding either the Sport or Premium package adds tons more things, and the Tech package includes both a navi and a music box that can store 500 CD albums at your fingertips.
Keep this baby in mind when your Eclipse begins to wear down.

What do you mean when my Eclipse begins to wear down?
Yep; exactly the same great engine, and the same great CVT (I am betting this is the best CVT ever built so far).
I meant to say when your ESCAPE wears down.
I am certainly glad to see you renting from National. I work for Enterprise, here in VA, and we recently acquired National and Alamo. For the longest time I talked about purchasing the new Maxima, so one evening my Branch Manager asked me if I would like to take an hour trip to go pick up our new 09 for the fleet. Out the door I flew! Albeit it was a base model, but it had the same HP. The drive back to the office took me half the time (since I was going 100mph at one point) and it made up my mind to buy one in the near future. Now I am a proud owner of a 2009.
Well i purchased my '09 SV premium package on Jan 3rd. I was taking it easy as the new car was being broken in. On jan 23rd i knew i was taking a trip to Canada, but i was not taking my new baby. Decided to go to Enterprise but all they had was a camery when i went to pick up a car. Good thing for me we were not leaving until that afternoon they had a black '09 on the lot. I went and exchanged that crappy toyota. Let me tell you that Maxima gave me alot to look for when i finally get the chance to break mine is. the best part is that it performed so well in the snow, it felt like it was an awd car. i loved it and even though it was the base model, i could not wait to get home to mine.

Nothing more need be said!
I would say somewhere around $55-65/day. You may be able to get the "Weekend Special" and get it 50% per day. They fall in the "Premium" car class category. It's hard to promise a particular car with Enterprise, so I suggest, scoping out the car lot or asking when they may have one coming back.
We do have an on-site Enterprise at Reagan, as I am sure there is a National there or nearby. Good Luck! Let me know if you have any questions.
