6th gen axle strength

How strong are the 6th gen axles?

Pretty much the only thing that I am afraid of breaking if I run the car on slicks.

You will be fine. I think the slicks would spin before the axles would break.

I wasn't planning on dumping it, I was just gonna slip it out really quickly.

Although, dumping the clutch is usually the best way to do it if you can hook.

But is he running NOS...without slicks, more then likely, but if he were to use slicks there would be no tire slippage resulting in something else to break loose literally!

Exactly, he was on a nitto drag radial, which is just about as good as a street tire. Therefore not having a high chance of breaking something.
