Low cost short shift idea from 5th Gen forum

I found this thread from the 5th Gen forum regarding a low cost idea to shorten the shift throw for 6 speed manual-equipped Maximas. I believe it will work on the 6th Gen Maximas. Any thoughts?

Hmm..seems like it would work on our cars just as well. I'm down to try it! Whenever I get some free time. The bad part about working on cars for a living is that you NEVER feel like working on your own car at the end of the day lol.

Id like to try it too. Maybe this weekend. Would be great in combo with the shortened shift rod mod I think.
