do I have 2 bad o2 sensors?

I changed my knock sensor and I thought that would fix my flat 3k rpm power, it did help a little but now I have p0153(left bank) and p0133(right bank). Which one's are these and how difficult are they to replace. Thanks.

did you reset the ecu? When were they changed last (if ever)

You prob need to change them. the front 2 aren't that bad unless you live in a place where they salt roads or your exhaust is incredible rusted. Do you have a stock Y-pipe?

they are not too hard to change, you just need a special socket. i would change all three if they are all original.

Word.
Replace all three if they are the originals.

And while you at it, why not get the spacer for the one after the cat to trick your cpu into thinking its running leaner.
Translation = More power.

WTF?

That O2 only monitors Cataylist efficiency, it has absolutely nothing to do with a/f mixture.

I'll probably just change the 2 that are giving me problems right now, where are the 2 bad o2 sensors locations at? Does autozone borrow/rent that special socket and lastly where can I get the cheapest/compatible o2 sensors?

also, I just bought the car last week and it looks stock. It does have a newer engine(lower mileage)88k. I was almost going to buy a maf, but I thought I'd change the 2 bad o2 sensor 1st.

Yes autozone rents/loans the tool. Ask and they should know what you're talking about.

The location of the O2 sensors you need to replace are on the downpipes from the manifolds, on the Y-pipe itself. With a stock y-pipe you won't have as much room as with aftermarket, but it won't be hard.

And check oxygensensors.com
