For Sale: BlehmCo LTB stg 1
Up for sale is a blehmCo stg 1 Lower tie Bar,.. if you dont know about Matt's company here is his link..great guy, great products..
http://www.mattblehm.com/suspension.htm
I've had this on my car for about 8-10 months, I removed it due to the fact that im getting the tranny worked on under warrenty and i dont want to hear any noise from them,..and its not going back on because i will be putting headers on after winter..so my loss is your gain..
in terms of performance,..when i first put this on i was shocked,.. i already had, progress RSB, illuminas, progress springs, and FSTB,.and this bar really seemed to make the steering more responsive and give a quicker turn in in terms of steering response, as well as a better connection between the car/driver and the road..
in terms of installation..i had my buddy who works in a shop put this on for me,..but i literally just took it off 10 mins ago with jackstands in my driveway and a 1/2" breaker bar
that being said,.. the bottom of the bar is scuffed, but in no means is the structual integrety compromised,..i plan on getting some pics up here hopefully by tonight or tomorrow...
Alright so price,.. im looking for 60$ plus actual shiping(ill figure out a round about price soon),.. i still have the box matt sent it to me in,.. heres the catch,.. since i wont need it anymore,.. im going to include the socket i needed to buy at lowes at no additional cost,.. can be seen here.. Kobalt
1/2" Drive 1-1/16" SAE Socket
,.. a 10$ value,.. that isnt in the usual mans tool box,.. i had to hunt around for this thing at 3 diff places because my mechanic didnt even have it...
ask any ?'s,..i take paypal,..first come first serve basis in terms of PM or thread,..all sales final

havnt touched the bar.. exactly the way it came off.. with a brillo and a rattle can this could prob be made to look brand new,.. but ill keep that up to the new owner..

sale pending to a member who PM'd me ..if that falls through a33i30 is next in line,.. and my guess to cali from here shipping might be upwards of 15 maybe 13 .. too bad i cant fit it in one of their flat rate boxes lol....and as far as instructions i dont know if it ever came with any,.. it connects the 2 front lower control arms,..if you look under your car from the front.. on the control arms you will see 2 big 1 1/16 nuts looking right a you on the LCA's.. those nuts come off..the bar goes on...the nuts go back on...sorry for being vague ill see if i can find a related install thread..
on a quick search i came across this from a very reputable member..

The stage 1 is super-easy to install....all you do is remove the control arm nut, and loosen the lower bush pin bolts (4 in a row, you'll see what I'm' talking about). Slide the bar on. Tighten bush pin bolts Snug, but do not torque down control arm nut yet. Lower car to ground. Torque down control arm nut now. Done.

also.. in my findings.. i know that the nut thats on the LCA's.. on 00-01 max.. it has a built in washer on the nut.. where the 02-03 max washer is seperated from the nut.. no clue why they did this.. but if your a 00-01 buyer you prob will need to pick up ''i think'' a 27mm nut,..not much cost wise.... dont quote me on the size...shouldnt be that big of a problem.. or do what irish did when he installed which was grind the edges of the nut down flush on a bench grinder..on that note cant speak on behalf of an I30/35 in terms of the nut..just some FYI's from my research
mist im in mass and interested. i could come meet you and pick this up. i dont need thesocket but would you do 50 dollars picked up? i see southington is below hartford. if you're int we could meet a little above hartford.. let me know
UPDATE:: Bar has been sold to PHANTOM-V--lock it up..
