key fob question

i need another key because i lost my original and my key fob is wearing out so i want to do the flip key and knock them both out, but the only ones that i can find only fit the 00-01 maxs, will their key fobs work on a 4th gen? They seem to have the same basic design just cosmetically different

I like the round one too. The plastic part on my stock remote keeps snapping, so it keeps falling off of the key chain. I've been gluing it together but nothing seems to keep it in place. I have a remote for a 5th gen and I WANT TO USE IT SO BADLY for my 4th gen...but there isn't any way to program it for my car.
