Which ebay headers are good?

My buddie just bought a set of OBX headers from ebay. They don't even come close to fitting. Only 3 bolts on the manifold line up.

Help us out, hes a baller on a budegtto BTW.

I remeber guys being happy with the ebay headers, but which ones are good.

Can anyone share a link with me?

Thanks.

I had SS AutoChromes (no way to really tell on EBay though) and they fit pretty good. Too loud for me, but they fit.

These look like the ones I bought:

Mine:

I did have to bend the pipe slightly to make it more snug, but everything lined up initially. I am now running stock fed pipes (I'm cali spec).

I just put on my Warpspeed Y from ebay today. I LOVE IT. It was really easy to put on, only we snapped a STUD that goes to the cat and had to drill it out, and it took forever only because of that, and we used the stock hanger to make it look legal/OEM. The quality is good, and only slightly louder if your flooring it, or right next to the tail pipe. It was $200.

Ya, the non SS. The SS ones for everything are thinner/give more exhaust noise as an effect, AKA the sound that headers typically give, like the sound of rushing are at high RPM's.

Yo man, look at that stainless, how could you want anythin else!!!

Does the Y-pipe really add noise? Is it annoying? or just more aggressive like the short ram intake??

The SS isn't always that pretty. After a while it looks like this:

Note my re-done underbody. 5 layers of 3M Rubberized Undercoating FTW.

Yes I do have my own lift, air tools, etc.

And I don't have it anymore. I sold it because it was too loud. I don't remember how long I had it on.

WE USED THAT EXACT LIFT LOL. My cousin has one in his shop, I LOVED it. Made it very easy to drill out the studs going to the cat when we snapped em off lol.

It adds a aggressive sound like my short ram does, but it has a strange hiss that you hear underneath you, it must be the fast air going through, but its not annoying, just cool. It makes the stock exhaust of the car slightly deeper and louder, but more deep than anything.

Well that's my old setup.

Back then:
  • SS AutoChrome Headers (Fed.) with Dual Universal O2 Simulator (I'm a 99 Cali.)
  • SS AutoChrome Y-Pipe (Fed.)
  • Magnaflow High-Flow Cat.
  • Budget B-Pipe
  • OEM Muffler (EBay)
Result: Nice tone, but too loud and some 'bees in the can' (although I'm not exactly sure).

Now:
  • Stock Headers (Fed.) with Dual Universal O2 Simulator (I'm a 99 Cali.)
  • Stock Y-Pipe (Fed.)
  • Magnaflow High-Flow Cat.
  • Budget B-Pipe
  • OEM Muffler (Napa - just changed today due to rotted EBay Muffler)
Result: PERFECT mix of sound. Quiet under cruise, but a G35ish sound under load. I can hear my VQ again (couldn't hear it before due to bad muffler).

^ they shipped me the wrong part,
if your part is bad they will demand you to send pics of bad fitment, pics of box, pics of bag, and pics of items in box. then still charge you 20%.
