The fire wall is the big fat heat shield that sits between you and your engine, all it is is a big hunk of metal, probably some synthetics in there too. You could look for a grommet in your firewall to pull the wire through, in case you don't know what a grommet is it is a usually a piece of rubber or plastic that protects wires or cables running from the engine compartment to the inside of the car. When you look in there you should see what I am talking about. An easy place to run a wire is would be where your radio's power cable is , or even through the grommet where the clutch cable is, if it has one. As for the 6x9's you should've bought 6½'s, J/K I am really fond of 6½'s, I wouldn't know, but someone else should.

Remove the splash shield from the fwd drivers side wheel well. You will see a big wire bundle w/grommet going to the interior. Cut the grommet in such a way so you can pass the amp wire throught it. Be careful not to cut any another wires.
good luck
