Lately I have been thinking about fabricating something new for my maxima and if it works out possibly making a lot and selling them. My dad said that he will finance this project (to a certain extent). So what should I make. I have been stumped for days now. What do you think I should do... I want something different or something better than whats out there. Thanks for your input and help.

How bot a triple gause pod next to our gauges, so i can have an Air to fuel ratio gauge? does that sound good? if you need to understand what i want to do, just tell me. I'll send some pics...

 

why don't you try and make a new nissan logo, other than the burger. a lot of people don't like it and like to shave it off. i'm thinking about shaving mine, i think it will look a lot better since i cleared my tails. but if i had a sweeeeet lookin nissan logo, i'd definitely opt for that

 

Like the NEW Nissan Logo. I personally like it. Not the big badge on the front, but the smaller one on the trunk lid. Anyone know where to get those?

how about some sort of bolt-on hood prop so I dont have to use a broom stick to keep the hood from smacking on my head. Im shure the carbonfiber guys would like this too.

 

one cool idea i saw once was billet replacement pieces for the interior, changed ac handles, window switches, cruise control, and other buttons with billet replacements, they looked tight

 

how bout a light for under the hood. cant believe nissan over looked that...

 

nissan DID put a light under the hood.....it is on the drivers side towards the bottom of the hood......

 

Which year? On Maxima? I don't see it on my 96 Max GXE.

 

I've been wanting to make this for a while...since i'm not and eng. major (pre-med) i don't have a clue how...make a cluster of 3 guages for under the stereo...those who have replaced the head unit with a single din unit have a gap underneath...instead of having pods on the pillar i think it would look sweet under there...one for oil temp, oil pressure and something else...i'm not sure...what else do you need gauges for?

Mine is 96 auto. Thought about making my own "P R N D 2 1" indicator, not easy though. Anybody know how to take the transparent plastic gauger cover out? Only that piece, not the whole gauge. I don't even know ow to take the black piece around the gauge out. Took two screws on the top out and tried popping the bottom side out but seemed impossible?

 

try making some billet plates to go over the relay boxes under the hood and maybe some billet overlayment caps for all the fluids under the hood. Thoses i would definitly buy.
I also def need a hood light. I might just fabricate one myself. Pep Boys sells universal light sockets ment for under the hood. I guess ill see what happens this weekend.

 

How about a custom grill for the 97-99?
