My fog lights won't work!

My fog lights haven't been working for a while now. I finally bought some bulbs and replaced them today. They still don't turn on! I read a thread that said to check fuses 53 and 63 but I can't tell which are which. Help!

You checked the fuses under the hood?

Yes, there was only one 15A fuse under the hood labeled "fog" and it wasn't blown...any other suggestions?

You could check the relay under the hood on the passenger side. When you turn the fogs on you should hear a click noise come from it. If you dont hear anything, you can try swapping it with another blue relay from there. If it works you know you have a bad relay.

After you check the relay, and if it's good, you will have to do the old fashioned devide and conquer. Get the wiring diagram from the fsm and a dmm. Turn the fog lights on and check for voltage. Keep working your way back throught the circuit until you get voltage. This will help isolate the problem if it's wiring. My guess is that it's the relay also.

I checked the fog fuse under the hood and it was blown. I replaced it with anothe 15A fuse and as soon as I turned the fog lights on, the fuse sparked and blew. Any suggestions?

Happened to me when I got 5500K bulbs and I had to constantly change the fuses so I got HIDs than didn't work at first but now they work perfectly. Do you have HIDs or halogen? And the fuse size is 15.

Sorry to bring up this old thread, but I have a 99 max se and one day one of my fogs went out, then a week later the other went out as well. Just swapped the bulbs today with silverstars (even though when swapping both bulbs were not blown. So checked the big blue fog relay under the hood, couldn't tell If it was bad so swapped it with the horn relay, no dice. Also checked all the other fog fuses, none are blown, any ideas?

Also don't know if this matters, but I installed ae headlights, and since then only one works, and they both work as low beams when the high beams are on so I have to have my high beams on all the time, even though the beams only both work as normal with the highs on, so I have no high beams at all. Any input would be great

Pull out a VOM and test the bulb socket/connector, and relay socket.........what cause this maybe some drilling around your radiator core support???? Check your light stalk also they do some weird stuff when bad!

Fog lights

Hey guys, my fog lights were working until one day I replaced on bulb and they both stopped working..I checked all fuses but they all good.i noticed that in my fuse box underneath dash, there is a row of 3 fuses that are not working at all.1 is the fog, n the other 2 don't remember.but the fuses themselves are not blown.jus no power goin to those 3 fuses at all..any ideas? For example there's 3 columns of fuses(up and down) then you go down to like the 5th fuse.that one and the 2 to the right of them don't work, but the rest of the fuses do..I'm lost!!
