iPad install in 6th Gen Maxima

Saw this on Autoblog.

Worked out pretty nice and doesn't seem too difficult:

Wow, thats great. I get it. You can watch movies without a dvd player. Listen to mp3's with a ipod connection. Surf the net on the dash, play a game on the dash and more. Can you make me one of those dash covers?

wow thats insane!!! niice find. It's a carputer without the hassel of all the converters... very in-genius install but works well. I wouldn't of gotta rid of the air vents but i guess you have to with that install... it would be nice to see if completely fabricated into the middle so how

Its so easy. Just slide it on the dash and take it with you when you get out.

I wonder if this guy could fabricate some brackets where I could slide my 65" LED TV in and out of the dash.

cool but super ugly. I mean your dash looks like crap now with it installed and even removed. Nice find though.

That is so slick, good thing its removable because that car would have been a thief's magnet but don't think it adds to the functionality of the car and that glare on the iPad would make anybody mad on a sunny day

seems wicked sweet, but wouldn't make this a mod for my max. Don't really see a point in doing that.

Although it does look odd (seems like they could have saved the vents) but the options are endless. You get NAV, movies, music, internet which can all be streamed via bluetooth through your system, if applicable. Almost no need for a headunit anymore...although not sure how the law will react.

Funny in the end the guy says "and it's completely removable" didn't he just watch him put it in??? lulz

Yeah, really... no point of an iPad in the dash w/o navi. you might as well just have a nice HU or iPod/Aux input.
