Has anyone ran their AFR at 13.5:1 all across without pinging?

Wondering if its even necessary on a DE-K N/A. Currently im running 12:1 passing 5800 just because someone told me when i was starting out tuning. I can definitely tell it pulls harder at 13.5:1 than 12:1 (in the higher RPM's).
Thoughts?

One of the highest NA DE/MEVI'd dynos comes from 14.0. You have ti go dyno and see what works best for your set-up ... I thought this has been established?
As a general rule, we look for 12.5-14. See what works best, and also, rul of thumb for our engines = flat line typically works well.
Jime uses 12.5 IIRC and he's really fast/powerful.
But, in order to prove to yourself, see what's best for you.

I try to stick around 12.8-13.0. With the timing the same, I see no difference in power by leaning it out to 13.5. And I also see no difference in power by going as rich as 12.5.
I accidentally used the wrong map once and I made a pass down the 1/4 mile with 15.2:1 AFR and the timing around 26 degrees without any knocking registered at all. The car was about 3 tenths slower, but it was fine. This is with my naturally aspirated VQ35DE making 290whp.
