I have a 98 maxima, 5spd.
I just replaced my radiator, the fans come on now right before the needle reaches the H, the upper limit of it overheating.
So the fans do come on, just delayed. So the car only cools down after it gets hot.
Is it air in the system, and how do i get it out?
Or is it a bad sensor somewhere?

Grab a new thermostat.

 

It was air in my system, after reading a few posts, i let it idle with the cap off and it bubbled.
