All you max owners that wonder how to get that orange piece out? Very simple brake it form inside by opening the lid from the trunk, brake the orange piece in half with a sharp knife this way it, you can pull the orange piece out with pliers or something like that, make sure not to brake the clear plastic after the oarnge piece, now just put a hyper white bulb and your set, looks off the hook.

You can do that with all 3rd gens. I did that to mine a while back. Does look nice. Blinkers are nice and bright.

92GXE, touring wing, 18” racing wheels, Port&Polished intake, custom intake, custom yellow interior, racing seats, back seats taken out and replaced with subs and amps, NOS kit, Suspension tech. Lowering springs, custom grille, soon to be custom painted and have the whole engine rebuilt for big shot NOS and custom SC and tranny converted to 5-speed.

Cool

On my 93 GXE the blinkers in the bak are already clear(I think) and the bulb is orange....would the blinker be visible if I put a hyper white bulb in there...during the day?
I also have clear bumper lenses(turn signal) and an orange bulb in there....could I do the same thing with those? Most important is would they be visible during day time?

Thanks,
Roman

Yeah you can see the blinker during the day. After you take out the orange piece the blinkers become brighter. Even if yoy didn't have the orange in your lense, then the clear bulbs are brighter than the orange ones. You will have no problem with the clear bulbs. I had blue bulbs in mine for a while and they were kinda hard to see in the day, but the clear ones are definitely visible.
