I have a 2000 nissan maxima auto with 178k. There is no ses light. the car turns on fine and drives just after a while it looses power if i give it gas it stays on but if not the rpms just fall and turns of. Im able to start it back up and is fine and does its thing again of turning off. Any suggestions?

 

any someone told me can be the fuel pump?

 

Listen for in tank pump, unplug the MAF sensor once it shuts off and see if it starts!

 

I cleaned the throttle body and i helped some. Still see rpm moving around and has turned off a couple of times.

 

Kinda sound like a crank or cam sensor as well.....
