I read this 3 times and still don't have a clue WTF you are typing about. Maybe someone else will chime in.

yo salty, until you reply op are gonna bust some shoes on u. if your talkin rear main seal, then i would'nt touch it unless its leaking really bad cause you gotta pull the trans and it aint all that easy of a job bro. i've never seen a write up on it, and my local trans shop did'nt even replace it when i had a trans swap done. ( even tho i told them to change it )

I have a small leak on my rear main seal, my mechanic told me not to touch it unless it gets real bad because its an expensive job and a pain in the ****.

RMS, as in root mean squared? If you truly want to find out about continuous power, then just multiply .707 to peak power or max power. Then you have the answer!

Listen, I have took my tranny apart and let me assure you, it is not your rear main seal. It is the upper oil pan seal that is right below your RMS seal. That is what is leaking and the proper way to fix it is to take off the upper oil pan. You do not need to remove the tranny. I also researched it on here and did a shortcut which I fould where someone took off the tranny and forced in a new pan seal which only worked for a few days. Ask anyone that has done this job themselves and not a shop and they will tell you its the upper oil pan seal and not the RMS.
