b-pipe hanger broke

dang it, im sad. I was driving home and went over a bump and heard a little thump from under the car so i pulled over and was like what the heck is that noise!? Looked under the car and saw the resonator hanging a little bit lower than normal and i said to myself, "that isn't right, that is way too low." I got in the car and drove home then pulled my floorjack out and lifted the car, saw that the rear hanger,( right before it curves to the axle back ) broke!!. Exhaust sags and im going to have to have a shop weld it for me but im thinking of doing an experiment and going to home depot lol. AHH STUPID CALIFORNIA POTHOLES!!!

Lol what would your "experiment" be? Lots of duct tape

Good luck getting it fixed though.

They all break, easy fix. Just bend rod stock into a Z shape, weld it onto the pipe and stick the other end back into the hanger.

Problem solved.

Experiment as in just waiting to get my custom 2.75" done and putting in my electronic cut out. It hangs but its not hanging till the point where it'll start scarping and sparking. I still make it over speed bumps

Some pics please, if it's not too bad J&B weld is a good temporary fix, I've seen it work for many different parts on automobiles for long spans of time. It won't look the prettiest but until you get the new exhaust you were talking about, it's only 5 bucks so you can't lose.
