Lights, squeaks, and rattles. Ebrake?
Lights, squeaks, and rattles. Ebrake?
Okay, so there's really no rattles, and I'm not so worried about this problem or anything, it's not the end of the world, but it's a bit bizarre:
The red BRAKE light came on, and my assumption is the break is either a) going bad or b) sticking. So I'll try to figure that out, but after doing a search, I read that if I back up and slam on the brakes six times the light will go away.
It did. Then I put the car in drive and moved two inches, the brake light came back on. And when I'm stopped at a light, for example, it usually goes off but comes back on as I begin to move.
So I just need to know what that means.
Secondly, when the e-brake is in use, it squeaks when you get in and out of the car, but I'm just assuming that's due to the pressure but I could be making that up.
