The instructions say to "Coat the threads of each spark plug with anti-seize".

i change my plugs almost every 2 weeks.. you dont' need to put any anti-seize compound on the plugs.. just tighten them up.. when the rachett gets tight.. then do a 1/4 turn with the rachett don't over tighten.. don't leave them loose..

well NGK Plugs cost me $6.50 so its ok.. i am running NOS so i am going back and forth between plugs.. often.. i am going to stick with these now .. the colder ones.. and stop being silly i guess i will just have to suffer with the decrease in peformance NA with colder plugs..

you don't need anti-seize compound.. no matter how long you are going to have them in there..

Anti-seize products are designed to provide an insulating layer between metals so that dismantling and routine maintenance are free from breakage of fused parts. This problem is especially onerous on threads. At less than $2.00 for a tube it really makes anything with threads easily removeable and will prevent the threads from gauling.

It's usually a molybdenum based grease >>

Go to your local autoparts store and ask for it. It's usually a silvery grease. Use it on lugnuts, spark plug thread (but carefully) and you can even coat the back of your brake rotors before you install them to prevent the rotors from freezing on the hubs (learned that from DanNY).
