Been poking around on Crutchfield to see what would fit in my rear doors, says that 5 1/4 and 6 1/2 are both compatible. Is that right?

I know for a fact that the 5 1/4 do fit, but didn't think the 6's would. Can anyone confirm with certainty if that is accurate?

 

6 to 6.5's can fit just fine. i have 6.5's in the back doors for rear fill. go any bigger and you may run into the risk of the speaker basket hitting the door panel. i crammed 8" midbasses in the front doors with some elbow grease and an air saw.
