Hey All:
Other than the tire width different, is there any actual wheel width, offset, weight or any other spec difference between the '02/'03 GLE 17" wheel and the 17" SE wheel?

I picked up a set of 17" GLE wheels tonight for winter use, but debating whether or not to use them instead of the 17" SE wheels... one reason that I may not is because the finish seems more prone to salt damage.

 

They should be the same size and width as the SE rims. I actually just put brand new tires on my GLE rims today, and used the SE tire size (225/50/17). In fact when I bought my GLE, it had 225/50/17 tires.

 

I actually think the GLE/GXE rims are a tiny bit skinnier than the SE rims. Not by a whole heck of a lot, though.
