On an intermittent basis, usually after a deceleration and pushing the clutch in for a stop, the rpm's will dip well under 500 but not enough to stall out. Typically the car idles at about 700 when fully warm. Also occasionally at ignition, the car will start at very low rpm b4 jumping up to where it would normally be cold at around 1300. Any explanations? thanks.

 

i believe you are having the same issues i am, occasionally itll shut off, ive been told my IACV needs to be cleaned

 

Clean both the throttle body and the IACV.

 

Any tips or guide on cleaning the throttle body and iac? Solvents or Solutions and things to watch out for? Thanks all. (I thought my new alternator was acting up)
