FS: White 1993 Maxima SE Auto
Hi Everyone,
Up for sale is my White 1993 Nissan Maxima SE with about 168,100 miles on the clock. It is an automatic and the paint is all original. The transmission runs great without any slipping.Has minimal rust with just a few dings here and there.I Have been running my baby on premium (93 octane) gasoline ever since I've had her.Furthermore I have been running her on synthetic oil for the past 20,000 miles since I've had her.
Here are some of the specifications and the good stuff about the car:
-Pretty clean exterior with few blemishes
-Full black leather interior in immaculate condition and NO CRACKS on dashboard
-PA inspection good till 6/11
-Clean title in hand
-CD player with remote control
-Original Bose speakers that work!
-Automatic seat belts also work
-Heated side-mirrors also in working order
-All the electric windows work without any issues
-Has cruise control but that does not work
-New tires up front
-Has a Stainless Steel Warpspeed Y-pipe (while the rest of the exhaust is stock) as the original Y-pipe had a hole in the flex joint
and I thought why not just put a better quality aftermarket Y-pipe that flows better than the stock unit!
-Replaced the old front rotors with new rotors and ceramic brake pads
-replaced rear brake pads
-replaced the old sunroof with an OEM Nissan one as the old one had a big crack in it
-replaced the PCV valve with an OEM one from nissan
-replaced the Camshaft Angle Sensor with the correct OEM Nissan part
-replaced the MAF sensor with an the correct OEM Nissan part
-replaced the Power Transistor unit with the correct OEM Nissan part
-replaced 2 of the front ignition coils with OEM Nissan items
-replaced the broken power antenna with an original OEM power antenna that actually works
Bad:
-One of the injectors is bad and needs to be replaced so the car runs a little rough
-The CV boot on the passenger side axle is ripped so that axle might need some attention as it has started ticking (I have the CV boots but never got a chance to get them changed so I am also giving them away with the car)
-The knock sensor is on its way out
-One of the bose speakers sounds a little flakey so I'm throwing in a replacement OEM speaker as well
-suspension is worn a bit being that it is an old car
-the AC does not work as there is a leak in the condenser (nothing wrong with the AC compressor)
-The aluminium rims are the originals so there is some corrosion but they can be cleaned up and made shiny again
KBB says $1,410 for the current condition she's in but I'm selling her for $1200 OBO. Willing to negotiate and not looking for trades.
I will post pictures as soon as I take them tomorrow morning.
I have put a lot of sweat and blood into her and hate to see her go to the crusher and that is why I hope that a true 3rd gen enthusiast will buy my baby off of me.
You can call me, text me, pm me or e-mail me (Whichever works for you) for any further questions as I've tried to throw everything I can remember off the top of my head.
