cons:
increased noise - some have the bees in the can noise (unlined flex)...overall more noise
durability - it'll never last as long as the stock unit
fit - (some cases)

pros:
more power
distinctive exhaust sound

Patrick, that post is messed up, but I see what you mean. In a previous post, Lawnboy said he'd already done the y-pipe and performance muffler... HUH? What gives?

for y pipes cheaper, just go to a local performance exhaust shop, and have one custom made, all welded, even the flex to cat point.

I cant believe how you guys get sooo ripped off, its not funny.

Id love to be a business and sell you guys stuff.

y-pipes

trbo, Good luck. For one thing, the custom die that we use to make the plenum (2 to 1 piece) costs us over $600. Combine that with the fact most muffler shops don't have mandrel benders, don't stock lined flex sections, and may or may not carry the proper sized nut for the 02 sensor, not counting having to custom make flanges. If you can get the same quality of y-pipe for under $225 please send an e-mail, we need to talk.

Hey Dan - I just ordered a Y from you guys. Can't wait!!
but anyway..I spoke to Dallas..and he's says that you think the JWT ECU is worth the upgrade even at the hefty price.

I also have a '93 SE and was thinking about getting it..but first wanted to get some feedback on others who have it. Does it really improve the performance of your car?

Jwt ECU upgrade

If you do a search using my name and JWT you should find several posts in this reguaed. Yes, It is noticable, but not as much as y-pipe and CAI.
