If this is for your car, look under your hood on the firewall and you should see a little metal plate. It is on there.

I already tried doing that but for some strange reason that metal plate is missing from my firewall and i couldnt find the code anywhere else.....

How about in your doorjam on the driver's side? Or on the dash, all the way to the left, a black tag. You might have to go outside and look in through the windshield to read it.
