Track was wet and slippery, so 1st gear and bit of 2nd were pretty much wasted.

When I first got there we all had to go up and down the track in a loop, swerving side to side, warming up tyres style, to try and wick up the water and remove a bit of the slick.

Fastest run was a 15.88, with a dry track I think I could get low 15s (old auto cefiro got 15.4, faster is defintely possible. Bugger is I always think of something different to try for the next run but when lined up I forget till the end of the run in all the excitement. And then they close the track :O

Camera is just a point'n'shoot Panasonic Lumix 7mp, I've gone it on a little tripod which I flip upside down and electrical tape to my rear vision mirror. I'm going to aim it more side ways next time so I get the other lane to if close race

 

What was the weather like? And what is your altitude? Those two things can play hell on track times..

 

temps were low and not sure about the altitude but not that higher either
