nope, still have to have a bracket to fit in the rear.

by law, you must also have a parking brake to pass safety inspection. not a ton of places check it, but you must have it to meet DOT regs.

i wasn't lying when i said you need brackets in your other thread...

cobra rotors and 02 rotors have nothing to do with the rear brakes - they are front brake upgrades. where you got the idea that they have anything to do with the rear brakes i have no clue.

like I said, you're in way over your head here and need to do a ton more reading.

Don't rely on the park position of your transmission to hold your car on a hill. The parking pawl is spring loaded and will not hold your car if the hill is steep enough. The parking/emergency brake should always be used when parking on hills. This is so elementary that it's in the owners manual.

Dont wanna thread jack, but Ive always wondered about the 300zx brake upgrade on a 4th gen. Is it sorta like a BBK for the 4th gen, front only? I mean it increases the rotors from what 9 to like 11.4 inches? Right?

Increases to 12.6 or 13 depending on which setup you go with. (front)

why don't you search some of the threads about it? the brake bias issues have been explained about seven BILLION times.

Crusher... now you see why I don't sell a rear kit without a parking brake.
Glad you were able to get home safely though. no fun to run out of brake, as you only find out when you need them the most!

No, it does not.

300zx calipers with 300zx rotors DECREASES the front brake diameter from 11.0" to about 10.7" - the 300zx rotors are the same diameter but you have to mill the diameter down some.

There are larger rotors you can use, but they are not part of the 300zx upgrade, they are separate, unrelated parts.

I believe 95Maxed was refrencing to the orignal 300zx setup, rotors and calipers. The Z32 rtotors are 11inches but when used on the max, they have to be milled down a bit.

Its exactly why i was searching for a Rear bbk with a parking brake or having an external one. On a car you use daily its just plain STUPID not to have a parking brake, Auto or manual it doesnt matter.

Weird, I thought 4th gens had 9 inch brake rotors
