Perplexing question regarding headlights..only low-beam is not working

My driver side headlight is not working. Well it is, but just the low-beam doesn't work. The high beam and DRL work fine.

What could be wrong?

Oh ok. Thanks Aaron, I'll try it out tomorrow. BTW, next time you come up to Toronto, you gotta give me a few tips on using a 5-spd man! Hopefully I can get sub 16s in the 1/4mi with the 240SX.

SEguy: If the low-beam filament was dead, then wouldn't my DRL not work either? But it does work?

yer fuse for low beam...or yer headlamp relay is cooked.
Ok thanks, I'll check it out. Do you know any reason why it would fail?? The bulbs are stock wattage, so its not like I'm melting the harness or anything.

UPDATE: I replaced the Eurolite bulb with the original Nissan bulb that came with the car and it worked fine. So it was the bulb after all. Its wierd that only the low-beam would not work while the DRL does. Does the DRL use a different bulb? It doesn't seem like it.

Anyway, if any of you TO guys see a Maxima that has one hyperwhite bulb and one stock bulb, that would be me.
