Wrecked rad drain plug
Wrecked rad drain plug
Changing my rad fluid and the final step is the drain the distilled water from the rad, but the plug screw is toast.
I noticed that the 4 point bolt seemed very delicate. On last tighten tried to give a little extra, but this is ridiculous.
What now, a screw extractor and what size?

I just bought this rad two years ago, OEM replacement.

Napa has it they said but three weeks order wait.
Will check dealer tomorrow.
that sucks, changed my fluid a while back .Thought i screwed mine up, all the parts places said the couldnt get it though. after somw ghetto "fix" (jb weld) its good to go (next JY and Im getting like 20)
To remove the damaged drain plug, I punched a small hole and hammered a straight-edged screw driver into place and unscrewed.
Thanks for the JB Weld suggestion but I'm returning it to Canadian Tire.
