Wrecked rad drain plug

Changing my rad fluid and the final step is the drain the distilled water from the rad, but the plug screw is toast.

I noticed that the 4 point bolt seemed very delicate. On last tighten tried to give a little extra, but this is ridiculous.

What now, a screw extractor and what size?

This is correct. I am not sure if there is a replacement screw for radiators that is sold separately. Otherwise, get $100 and buy a new radiator.

To remove the damaged drain plug, I punched a small hole and hammered a straight-edged screw driver into place and unscrewed.

Thanks for the JB Weld suggestion but I'm returning it to Canadian Tire.

I just replaced my radiator, might still have the old drain plug, but it looks like you just got a new one from the dealer.
