02 N/A Auto - 14.26 @ 97

First time at the track in 2 years.

Temp was 65 degrees w/a fairly strong headwind.

1st run: (Shifted a bit too early from 2nd to 3rd)

60' - 2.24
1/8 - 9.22
MPH - 78.31
1000 - 11.96
1/4 - 14.31
MPH - 96.31

2nd run: (Best run)

60' - 2.19
1/8 - 9.20
MPH - 78.38
1000 - 11.94
1/4 - 14.26
MPH - 97.13

Mods:

JWT Intake
Underdrive Pulley
Cattman Y-Pipe
Stock Cat
Cattman 2.5" Catback
18" Rays (lightweight)
Modified Valve Body (quick shifts)
Street Tires (32 psi front, 40 rear)

Over a 1/2 tank of gas.

Only weight reduction was taking out the spare tire. Also, car is running on Tokico Illumina 5-way adjustable struts, however, I didn't have time to stiffen the struts to the 5 setting, so instead ran the 'soft' setting of 2 (). Personally, I think a 14.1 is doable if I stiffened up the chasis and got my 60' down. Perhaps even 14.0 if I remove the back seat.

Overall though, a very fun day at the track with my son and a few friends.

Comments welcome and appreciated.

LRMAF/3.5" Intake/Velocity Stack

Have everything in hand except Headers, just need to install and then dyno/tune.

(but it will have to wait 'til March, )

Yeah, just a typo on the Y. Been a long day. Would've loved to have installed the BOP and Spacers on before we went, but with my work schedule the last few months I just haven't had the time. First weekend I've had open in awhile and decided to spend it with my son and some friends. Thanks for the props.

You just gave me high hopes for getting into the 13s next spring!

Good times! I will have all the same mods as you besides the difference in exhaust.

Looks like the autos can run decent times.

Do you know what the DA for the day was?

Not to get off topic but when are you planning on getting headers? And when you do will you sell the y pipe? I'm going the y pipe route because headers are just to much work and I'm a college student so money is limited.

Nice times. I thing the tranny mod is making a big difference. Do you have transgo? Also do just have your Jwt pop attached to helmholtz?

Thanks! The valve body was sent off for an upgrade to Level 10, a company in New York.

As I'm sure you are aware of, she currently holds the 5.5 gen auto n/a record (13.6), which was the only thing I was referring too. Or does she have to own the Max to own the record, LOL?

Her owning a Maxima or not has no bearing on the fact that she currently holds the 5.5 auto 1/4 mile record. Thanks for looking.

oh i can agree i guess... gluck... i think you should just go for the auto times by urself and not really compare to 1sexyleo, he did the times with less than the mod list you probebly have now... with that being said, seems like your future mods should help you in getting those times... i believe full headers and some kinda drag compound tire should net you those goals to be honest... good luck again

Hay mate do u own a 4sp auto or a 5sp auto? There is no reason u shouldnt crack the 13s when u do your headers spacers and bop should easily i reckon there good mods witch gain u great power. Did u notice your underdrive pulley was a gain in performance or just the same. Cheers Kurt.

So those spacers actually do work huh? Ive got an 2002 i35, and looking to do minor upgrades, such as CAI, spacers, UDP and replace the exhaust, or at least the cat-back. Good times
