How do you know when the clutch is slipping,an would a stage 1-3 clutch solve this problem.

 

drive up to 35, put it in third gear, gas and then release clutch at same time. clutch should catch immediately, if it revs up after you've released clutch, its getting bad.
also, just regular drivin, the car will surge forward all of a sudden even with steady pressure on the accelerator.
