5th gen upper rear in my 99

Ok im almost certain i read somewhere that the 5tu gen rear seat will fit our 4th gens but cant seem to find it again...so my question is will the 60/40 rear from a 5th fit in my 99??

Yes with perminent modification to the rear metal it will... I speak from experience as I have 01 i30s in the rear. Upper n lower.

What kind of metal modification?? I dont mind a lil but i dont want to get into it too much i just prefer 60/40 split

The hooks that hold up and support the rear section of the 4th gen seat have to come out. Not that big of a deal doing it, but it makes putting the 5th gen seat in permanent.
