Back to a Max

Hello all,

First off, I'm new to this forum but I've browsed before when I was looking at cars and mods. As of a week ago today (Thursday) I have become the proud owner of a 03 Maxima 3.5V6 SE... loaded with almost everything I wanted in a car. And so far I am loving it. And I have a list of plans for this car. So any help in the right direction would be a great help.
Also, I guess I should mention that I am a long time Nissan fan, with this new car being the 3rd Nissan I've owned. (#1 3rd Gen. Maxima and #2 97 Pathfinder)
I think that's it for the short introduction. All I have to say is, it feels good to be back in a Nissan! I look forward to learning more about this car, and seeing what it can actually do once parts are added. Thanks in advance for all your help and insight.

Welcome to the .org You will find plenty of valuable info on here that will save you tons of $ if you know how to work on your car yourself.

May I suggest you monitor your oil level very often (once a week is a good habit) since our cars are known for having oil consumption problems (bad piston rings).

Did you buy an AT or 6MT?

I agree. It helps to get help about help. It's good help.

On behalf of the ghost of Soonerfan, I'd just like to say, WTF is it with all the lame-azz intro threads? At least take some decent photos, so that if you're going to do this, you do it right.

On my own behalf, welcome to the Org.

Yeah, it's not fair to imply you have a Majestic Blue with black leather combo and then not post pictures of it.
