After selling my original maxima which i had built up over 3 years i bought a bmw really loved that till she crapped out on me. Bought a 300zx sold that bought a 240 with a SR got rid of that quick. Bought an 99 GSR liked it for all of about a day. I finally ended up finding a 2000 DEK max. I jumped on it all it needed was a tranny i have replaced that and im glad to be back i cant really find another car to fit my needs. The BMW 325i came the closest. I also just bought back my 96 maxima cause she was wrecked bad and i worked out a deal with the owner.

I have a couple questions to all yall 5th genners.. First off i have some money to spend on the ole DEK.

1) will my y-pipe from my 4th gen fit on the 5th gen? (not cali spec)
2) i understand my coilovers will fit with modification to top bolt on the bottom strut mount just need a clear answer for that
3) will the i35 sideskirts fit my car? (couldnt find a clear answer on this)
4) will the i35 trunk mat carpet and panels fit my trunk?
5) does the bose unit have separate amps or one central one? i understand the woofer has its own and what size speakers are all? ive seen they are all 6.5 and some say the backs are 5.25.

Wow, welcome back to the fold. I know the Cattman Y worked for 1999-2001 since I have one and the rear speakers I believe are 6.5s in all versions (I was non-bose before gutting the stereo)
