So the starter is doing it's job?

How are the lights? Does it look like the battery is low? Maybe alternator?

It could be something with your security where immobilizer is still active.

It could also be related to your crankshaft position sensors or camshaft position sensor(s).

valve cover seals are no big deal, happens on most of these engines and its a job you can do yourself. The cranking but no start could be a few things so lets start small. Any codes? How are your spark plugs and cam and crankshaft position sensors?

Sounds like low battery/slow cranking.

A little more description will help if you can't get the vid up anytime soon

Based on that I would say you need to check your crankshaft position sensor(s). One or both may be bad. Also check your ground connections. If one is bad then you'll need to fix it. If everything checks out OK then you will need to add a ground cable from your tranny (as close to CPK as possible) to the negative terminal on your battery. Use a 2 or 4 gauge wire with good connections. I picked up everything for the ground wire from Home Depot for under $10.

CPS ref and yea check those grounds and maybe add in a new one TO THE FRAME. dont waste your time groundings elsewhere in the engine bay

I don't know...grounding to the tranny, as suggested by others, worked for me immediately. The thought process is grounding near the CPK to ensure no other electrical interference.

What's the point of grounding from the frame to the battery? Or, are you talking about grounding from the tranny to the frame?

Give it time the hard or no start may return. Initially, mine went away for weeks at a time and came back. As it went on further it became more frequent. It took me almost 2 years to figure it out and get it fixed thanks with the help from the org.

Got my car back today runs great once it starts. Starts are kinda rough so Im going to change my starter. New tensioner pulley and belt were a big difference especially in the noise department, my compressor is no super quiet.

How old is the battery? This stuff happens in 3s right? What about the ground and sensors? You may want to verify the crank problem before throwing parts at it, as in CPK and CPS, along with the checking your connection to a starter before replacing it. If this was flooded with oil you may want to pull a spark plug and see if they are fouled.

Battery is fine, it was never flooded with oil. Cpk, cps will be checked but from my experience it feels like the starter.
