Need solid answer for interior LED bulbs

I did a search and found this thread

http://forums.maxima.org/7th-generat...b-listing.html

but it seems like there still was not a solid answer as to whether or not all of the interior bulbs were the same or not. The link above shows a mix of bulbs (see below), which is backed up by the sylvania website, but some of you said that they are all the same. On a 2009 SV does anyone know for sure?

This is from the thread above:

Glove box
158

Map light
175

Dome light
175

Step/Courtesy light
194

Trunk/Cargo area
158

If that's true I wonder why these mixed numbers are out there. I guess I'll just have to pull them all and compare them...

Are all of the plastic covers just the pry-off type for the most part? Any link to a site that will show how to get at the bulbs? I'm especially wondering about the dome lights since you push on the plastic part to turn the light on/off.

What kind did you go with?

I know the sylvania web site said that in 2009 they put a few different bulbs in the cars for that year, and to check the stock bulb before ordering one. I'll prob just do that for all of them at this point.

What do all of those numbers mean in the title? 194 168 2825 5?

I like these, but don't know if they'll work since those numbers are different:

everything i used had a 194 socket... it is the same as the T10... except for your vanity lights... it just depends on how you want it...

as long it has the number "194" or "T10" it should work... these numbers, i think, refer to the socket type...

there are some things to consider... angle, degree of coverage, length or width of the entire bulb, and of course color...

That's interesting that different numbers can fit the same socket. I ordered all the same bulbs and then got 4 vanity bulbs. I'll just have to see if they all fit. From what you are all saying, they should.

Thanks for all the info!

The 5-SMD is the amount of diodes on the bulb.

Cool. I'm hoping they are all the same. I'll report back once they are all installed. I can't believe there's only one bulb in the trunk... hopefully the 5 LED will be enough light back there. On that same note, I'm hoping I don't look like these stupid Honda Civic's running around with my license plate lights way too bright. Trial and error...

I ordered 2 LED interior lights from DDM just to test them out but they are pretty noticeably different colors. Can somebody reccomend the best site to purchase the interior bulbs? Don't want to waste any more time..Thanks.

Installed everything tonight and love them! Lights the interior up like its the middle of the day! LOL To be honest, they are a little too blue for my taste, not much, but just enough to the point that I wish I got some that are a little whiter. Just my thoughts.

So they were definitely all the same size, so that was good.

For the license plate bulbs on the trunk lid, a tip is to pull the lid down enough so you can see the outside of the car and reach up and under as you're trying to put them back in... helps to watch what you're doing.

The glovebox was a piece of cake. I found out that the glove box light doesn't come on when you open the glove box... it comes on with the parking lights... what sense does that make???
