How much to repair this?

My car was hit while parked on the street. What will the cost be for repair?

Search a junkyard for a used door and fender in your color.

Ouch...worse than what I was expecting...

How much it costs you depends on how you want to fix it...if you want to do it yourself...go to a junkyard and find stuff in your color if you're lucky...or buy automotive touch up paint and paint a new door your body color....or take it in to a shop and drop about a grand.

cheapest will be to find matching door and fender at junkyard. I'm sure body shop would charge at least $1500 to fix something like that.

if you go to a shop, that estimate tigershark gave you is def on the low end of things even. you could either get it fixed right for 1.5-2Gs, or just get a new aftermarket fender and beat that door back to a 95% repair. if you find someone who does side body work jobs(like me) you can cut corners to save money.

I just need someone to remove and realign the fender to the door and to the hood. Right now the inner liner is rubbing against the tire and the door is making contact against the panel when it opens. Getting it repaint is the least of my concern.

What would you charge for a side job like this and how long would you take?

well, you could do that if the mounting points on the fender havent been ripped off/open. it looks as if the bottom ones have been, in which case it would have to be really ghetto rigged to even come close to lining up. i would def recommend a new fender, like that guy above said(because aftermarket fenders are literally 100 bucks at the most). but another problem is that door is going to rust to **** now without atleast primer on it. but then youve got a big ugly primer spot.

if i were just to band the door back to 95% and replace a fender without any paint, id charge like a hundred bucks labor probably. around that area. and it wouldnt take more than a day really. with some primer itd be a tad more.

no, were not nuts. the high estimates in this thread are talking about getting it fixed RIGHT. a body shop doing this job the right way would be blending the rear door and also the hood, on top of the fact that there is likely to be SOME damage to an LKQ door you get from the junkyard(scratches, dings, what have you)... which would need to be fixed before painting.
