Where would you guys recommend getting spark plugs and ignition coils from? I understand that OEM coils are pretty much manditory if I don't want the SES to remain on...

i bought some of my coils from Napa, Advance Auto, and Auto Zone and haven't had a problem yet ...

I would suggest getting coils ( all 6 ) from one place so IF they ever go bad you can get them warrantied ( IIRC Advance Auto has lifetime warranty on the coils )

I'm going to play it safe and order them from Nissan. The part number should be 22448-2Y001 and they have pink dots on them, right? Are they all the same size for all 6?

I'm not sure about the specific part number, but the part number for all 6 should be the same as they can be swapped from cylinder to cylinder with no problem.

For spark plugs go with NGK Iridium's.

He lists his car in his sig as a 2000, so it's the De-k 3.0, which has different coil packs front and rear.

Prices are about the same as Autozone for Plugs and dont have to wait for it to arrive....

For 2000, they have grey dots on them and the part numbers are...
Front: 22448-2Y005
Rear: 22448-2Y000

So, I guess the question now is: OEM spark plugs or aftermarket?

NGK platinum is what Nissan uses. NGK plat. is what you should be using.

you should check the TSB, there was a recall on them and if you still have the original ones - you might be able to get them replaced to white dot ones at the dealer
