2001 Maxima stereo radio issues

Hey guys i just bought a 2001 maxima se model which means its not bose and it doesnt have any speakers on the rear deck and there is no sub or amp.... can i put bose speakers with the stock radio?? radio headunit is NOT bose. Thanks

If you don't have Bose, then you can't install Bose.

Sorry, let me clarify. It's not worth the time, money and ridiculous amount of wiring needed to install a Bose system, especially when the end result fairly low quality audio.

Just install aftermarket.

Yeah its not worth it, since they are not interchangable. Would loved to have a bose speaker to work on non bose h/u but if you were to go down that route to get bose h/u with speaker, it'll cost you more than the car is worth today, that's why it's not worth it.

First and foremost, Welcome to the forums!
Just wire it up and get a small 10" or a 12" Subwoofer into your trunk. I have a 12" Pioneer on a 400 Watt Amp and it sounds so good. Its inexpensive and pretty easy to do.
