seems like the disc separated from the outer layer. I was told i need another. Anyone selling a used working part?

how many miles is on the part?

Its a common enough problem that I wouldn't risk installing a used part.

mine died yesterday i bought it from parts geek total $106 for pullley,2 belts and the front seal.

My original pulley (1997 model) failed around 133k miles.
The failure seems to be related to age more than miles.
The steel on the original part appeared to be perfect, it is that non-metal section between the inner and outer steel parts that deteriorates to the point of failure.

you know i would have never thought a nissan balancer would go bad.

was it showing signs of pending failure?

Rob, yes, it had a slight wobble months before it began to squeak and threaten to dismember itself if I didn't fix it ASAP.

about 140,000 original miles (97 SE) my original one failed, got a used pulley and Im perfectly fine 10,000 plus miles later.
