Maybe we should hit up Ennis next time...no other changes and I bet you're down to 14.2

Yeah you got some nice run, especially for your first time.

Don't do headers, you already gutted cats. And car sounds real nice as it is.

That makes no sense. Gutted cats a temporary solution for horsepower. For maximum performance out of a n/a maxima headers are a must.

and lighter wheels would help a lot 2

I got headers now. Track wheels are on the list to do after I beef up the valve body. Too much slip between gears, it's hard to predict when to shift.

Lighter wheels. A full set will shed good weight. Not just fronts.

Anyone notice this OP was dated 10/20/12, but the run was 10/22/12? How does that work?

Iw as just trying to find out a DA for that day, but, ahh, was a little weird when I looked.

I must disagree with you. His car must have something wrong because his timeslip isn't correct. He should make 13 sec in 1/4 mile and trap more than 100 mph. He went 76 mph in 1/8 mile. My Nissan (auto) went near 80 mph w/ kn drop in filter only.

I see FlawleZ made 14.448 @ 98.12 mph w/ only a K&N drop in filter, GAB, NWP VIAS, and NWP Spacers. Click below:

http://forums.maxima.org/1-4-1-8-mil...ather-win.html

Few mods = good timeslip and many mods = bad timeslip. It isn't make a sense.

EDIT: @admin/mods I don't argue w/ here. Just discussion.

The car is probably not hooking for s***. He is probably spinning first gear

2.2 60' doesn't really imply that he's spinning all of first.

There are mods that would help, other than power mods.

Driver, weather, tire, and weight mods help too.

To answer all questions, yes something is off on my car. I believe it is timing related, I got a cipher and will do some logging to get to the bottom of it. If it's not timing, I would assume the motor is on its way out (burning too much oil).

Updated the OP to include the correct date and DA.

It was below 200 on a dyno dynamics. MrEeous dyno'd also with me so we can confirm the dyno was off but not completely false. He dyno'd 235ish, if I remember. Little low but you get the point.

I have since removed the VAFC and LRMAF, and am pleased to say I got a big increase in the butt dyno. With this setup the timing was 25 at redline, and the afr stayed steady at 13.3 and dropped down to 12.8 at redline. Pretty wild for a untuned maxima, must be the 3.5" intake or 350z injectors.

I do not have a timing curve for the dyno/track setup, assumed it was significantly lower.

Now if I can get this dam UTEC going...maybe I'll gain a lot with a more aggressive timing curve.

Most all people say DynoDynamics reaad lower than DynoJets, but I would say must be the 3.5LRMAF, I'm using the 3" one and when I slapped it on lost 10hp and 10tq so took it off till got the Neo installed, but have the Z injectors also no problem running those Untuned, but got it Dyno Tuned now hit about 242-243ish on a DynoDynamics, waiting for time so I hit up a DynoJet.

So was your car Tuned with the LRMAF or no when you hit the Dyno? After Tuned usually people make some nice power with those.
