I assume they're not as bright as the pictures suggest?

A nice mellow glow would look pretty good.

Just curious about the install of the LED's in the handle, I was going to do this to my Maxima also before I decided to stop modding it.

Good work OP. I did this last year on maxima, I'll post pictures later. I offered it as a service on nycmaximas for a short period of time but because it was so labor intensive and tedious I stopped, wasn't worth the money. I did about 3 maximas.

To those interested in doing it, my method was running the positive and negative wires into each door, tapped into whichever source you wanted. I personally preferred the dome light so it faded on/off and came on when you unlocked. I had a customers who preferred them to be on with the parking lights. Blue leds on a white maxima is a nice combo.

As far as routing to the door handle, I ran the wire outside of the path of the window. Then each door handle already has a hole in it to allow thin wires to pass through. I hot glued an led in the corner under the door handle and put a dab on the side which routed it back into the car.

Not sure how the OP chose to do his. I miss this about my old maxima so much.
