The noise is only heard when moving, I thought it might be a bad wheel bearing but I cannot pinpoint to a particular side of the car. It sounds like it's coming underneath the car around the shifter area. I can't determine if the noise changes with speed or not. Could an axle be rubbing on something or possibly the noise coming from the transmission? The car shifts fine and drives fine also.

I had my brakes done last weekend and the noise was there before but I attributed it to warped rotors, now I know it was something else. While the guy was under the car he didn't see anything obvious.

 

could be a mount, or suspension issue. get the max back up in the air and check the axles, outer tie rods, lca's, and, all the stuff that moves.
