Heater is making a weird squeeky noise

Not sure whats going on. When I turn the heat on at level 3 or 4, it makes a squeeky noise, but at level 1 or 2 its nice and quiet. Coming from front passenger leg area. Any ideas?

My first guess would be your blower motor is on the way out.

I agree. Some other things to consider. Have you checked cabin air filter? I had a similar problem When I pulled mine out there was a considerable amount of dirt and leaves. It's not much of a hassle to drop the glove box so I would check that before buying another. In my case, I went to the junk yard and got one off of a low mileage car before starting my job. I changed it anyways, and now have a spare. When I dropped the blower motor there was also some leaves in the same area as the actual fan which could cause noise also. Good luck.

Bearings are probably drying out, it gets muuuuuuch worse. Eventually it will sound like someone skinning a squirrel. Buy a 4th gen.....it fits and will save you a few bucks rather than buying a 5th.
